Every price on this site is pulled from the retailer and stamped with the day it was checked. If it is more than 48 hours old it disappears and the card says “check price” instead. No competitor we surveyed shows a live number at all.
A published scoring method
Four criteria per category, the same ones every time, written down on one page. You can disagree with the weighting, which is the point of publishing it.
We say what we have not done
Every kayak gear site says they tested twenty life jackets. We have not tested any, and we say so on every page. What we do instead is compile published specs, cite the manuals, and do the arithmetic.
